To protect, preserve and improve the ecological integrity of
Nova Scotia's natural systems.
The goals of the granting program are the conservation of biodiversity through
preserving habitat in Nova Scotia, maintaining healthy ecosystems, and strengthening
the capacity and effectiveness of environmental groups to achieve and maintain
these goals. Emphasis is on the ecological sustainability of forests, wetlands,
coastal and marine regions. |
